Trump just was quoted saying the following:
“I spoke with the prime minister and we are in deep discussions — a very sad situation. It certainly looks like the Russians were behind it,” Trump told reporters, referring to British Prime Minister Theresa May.
Watch what he said below.

The U.S. has announced that it will put new sanctions on Russian individuals and companies for their attacks on the U.S. during the 2016 election, says a senior national security official.
The Treasury Department will target five entities specifically and 19 individuals for “destabilizing efforts” in the 2016 election and recent malware attacks. The Treasury said that it will freeze assets and stop Americans from doing business with the Russians they have accused, says the Hill.
These individuals and entities have been indicted by special counsel Robert Mueller and include the Internet Research Agency.
Liberal pundits have began calling for Trump do issue sanctions against Russia and it seems that the administration has finally acted.
The FBI and Department of Homeland Security are investigating a “two-year cyber-warfare campaign against the U.S. government entities.
According to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, “The Administration is confronting and countering malign Russian cyber activity, including their attempted interference in U.S. elections, destructive cyber-attacks, and intrusions targeting critical infrastructure.”
“These targeted sanctions are a part of a broader effort to address the ongoing nefarious attacks emanating from Russia,” he continued. “Treasury intends to impose additional CAATSA sanctions, informed by our intelligence community, to hold Russian government officials and oligarchs accountable for their destabilizing activities by severing their access to the U.S. financial system.”
The U.S. is now saying that the Kremlin was behind the brazen chemical poisoning that occurred in Britain targeting a former Russian intelligence officer.
Are you glad that President Trump issued sanctions against Russia?
