A helicopter carrying First Daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner was forced to return to the airport after experienceing engine failure on Thursday. The couple was flying from New York to Washington D.C. when one engine lost power.

The plan was for the chopper to take the couple to Manhattan, say sources.

According to the Washington Examiner, the two-engine helicopter had one engine fail. According to CNN, the helicopter made it safely back to the Ronald Reagan National Airport with the couple unharmed.

The helicopter was owned by the Trump organization, says information by LiveATC.net. A spokesperson has no comment on the incident.

There has been no comment from a Trump spokesperson on the incident.
